Membership in the Society is open to qualified scholars. The annual dues of $12.00 include subscription to the Society's scholarly forum, The journal for the Scientific Study ol Religion. Student memberships are available at $6.00. Annual Subscription to the Journal without membership is $10.00.
Members also receive a quarterly Newsletter, occasional supplements, conference reports and a periodically revised Directory. The central office of the Society is located at 3800 Locust Street, Philadelphia, Pa. 19104.

INFORMATION AND REGISTRATION

THE INFORMATION AND REGISTRATION DESK WILL BE IN THE HALLWAY APPROACHING THE CONFERENCE ROOM AT THE LAURENTIEN HOTEL on Thursday, October 24th, it will be open from 6:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M.
On Friday, October 25th and Saturday October 26th, the Information and Registration Desk will be located at the head of the staircase near the entrance to the hall leading to Viger Salons, A, B & C, in

It will be open:
Friday, October 25th: From 8:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. and-5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
Saturday, October 26th From 8:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M.

ADVANCE REGISTRATION FEES (apply to registration through Sept. 30):
For Members: Senior $4.00 Student $1.00
For Non-Members: Senior $6.00 Student $3.00

NOTE: An additional charge of fifty cents will be added for registration after Sept. 30.

SINGLE SESSION ATTENDANCE:
Tickets for any single session will be available at $1.00 each.

LUNCHEON: There will be a luncheon meeting on Friday, October 25th at 12:15 P.M. in the 9th Floor Ballroom of the Sheraton Mt. Royal Hotel. Tickets for the luncheon are $5.00 each. They should be purchased at the time ol your advance registration. A few may still be available at the meeting. However, no luncheon tickets can be secured later than 9:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 24th.

ABSTRACTS: Additional copies of abstracts of papers available at registration desk. Price $1.00.

EXHIBITS: Exhibits of publishers and writings by members of the Society will be on display in L'Etude Champlain (across hall from Le Salon Viger). Catalogues of these works will be available in the exhibit area.

SCHEDULE OF SIMULTANEOUS PROGRAM SESSIONS

Simultaneous Sessions were made necessary by the number of papers offered. Papers have been scheduled in groups which hopefully minimize conflict of subject matter. You should feel free to pick any particular session or paper. In general, the time allotted for the presentation of each paper and its discussion is one-half hour.
