The reception will involve free soft drinks and a cash bar for alcoholic beverages. And of course we'll have some tasty finger foods and other snacks.

Friday Night at the Grand Ole Opry

A visit to Nashville is not complete without taking in the Grand Ole Opry, the focal point of country music in the United States. We have reserved a block of 135 seats for the performance scheduled for Friday, November 8. We have also reserved three Gray Line coaches to transport us to Opryland and back.

Total cost-admission and transportation-$22 per person.

Annual Banquet and Awards Ceremony

The program on Saturday will climax with the annual banquet, awards ceremony, and featured address. The winners of the 1996 Distinguished Book Award, the Distinguished Article Award, and the Student Paper Award will be announced immediately following the banquet. The distinguished speaker this year will be Professor Martin E. Marty, reputedly the leading authority on contemporary American religion.
