The President's Reports constitute an important source of information in the history of the Religious Research Association. Until the 1990s the RRA did not have an executive officer. This is one important reason why the preservation of records has not been as extensive as is the case with SSSR. Presidents play an important role in tending to details over the years. Many Presidents presented written reports to the Board of Directors or to the membership through the mail. These reports are often very valuable in gaining insight into the activities of the organization. In some instances, we have included correspondence and other materials from Presidents.
