The governing body of the Society for the Scientific Study of Religion is the Executive Council The Council meets before the Annual Meeting of the Society. In the early years of the Society there were occasions when meetings were held outside the context of the Annual Meeting. In some years, Council met both before and during the meetings. When multiple meetings occur in a given year, this is so indicated in a short hyperlinked index at the top of the document. Where Council Meeting Agendas are available, they appear before the Meeting Minutes.
As is the case with other documents in this Archive, Minutes were reproduced, in as far as possible, in the format of the original.
